Jon and I went and got new phones today, which is good because I was getting really tired of AT&T and their all too frequent emails and letters telling us that we could upgrade. It was starting to border on harassment, I think.
My new phone (the AT&T HTC Tilt 2) is a PDA and it’s got so many options, most of which I don’t even know what to do with. I’m pretty happy with it so far. Okay, in all honesty, I’m a bit enthralled with it. Let me explain: I’ve simply never had a phone with very many options. The Raz’r was the most high-tech phone I ever had. This bad boy lets me access my email, check Facebook, view PDFs, view and edit Microsoft Office docs – I think even Excel spreads, too – as well as having a full web browser. I guess it also has some GPS stuff but with a surveyor for a husband, I don’t get lost all that often. In any case, take a look for yourself. I also like how the screen tilts (see pic). It makes it easier to see what you’re doing when you type. So far, I can’t think of any complaints. It is a really nice phone, even if Jon did compare me to Ellie May and her new cement pond today.
After all the phone shopping, we met my mom at Red Robin for her birthday. For dessert we had their ever-so-yummy mud pie.
