On Black Friday we went to Dull’s to pick out our Christmas tree. Their trees and prices are fantastic.
Apparently everyone decided to get their tree that day, as well! LOL
When it was finally our turn, we handed our tree off to have all the loose needles shaken off and to be wrapped up, ready to take home.
In the meantime, we decided to ride the horse wagon. Everyone was so excited to ride this year.
Unfortunately this year the ride wasn’t near as much fun. The driver left us sitting there for an insanely long time – I was actually ready to request a refund when he finally ambled back. Then when we thought we were finally going to get started, he sent the kid that was with him after a coat. Now, bear in mind that before the guy wondered off he gave instructions to the kid to put his coat on which the kid blissfully ignored. The same kid then attemped to tell me how to parent my kids – the same kids who were incredibly restless because they were being kept waiting and waiting and waiting. Yeah, I didn’t take kindly to that any more than when the kid whipped out a slingshot that he proceeded to use as we were riding. I hope next year will be better should we try again.
Our tree is great, as always. We still love the tree farm and will continue to get our trees there as we’ve done for years now as well as recommending them to everyone.
